reader, anonymous, writes (20 June 2009): Contrary to the opinion of the posts here I think you should really be carefull & give yourself time. Going into a relationship with the same sex can have huge psychological implications especially at your age.
You have to consider if this would be something that you will be happy with or would you actually prefer to have a boyfriend that you can have a healthy relationship with which will not be the focus nor the gossip of others. Your parents will probably be concerned with such a relation & at school you might face lots of issues that could be a great burden.
For me the real test in anything that I am not sure of is: "If this gets out to others, will I feel disgraced & unhappy or will it be O.K.

If you like her the only choice you have is ask her out, after all she made the first move. But you must ask her if she was just having a good time or is she wants to be with you. FIND OUT HOW SHE FEELS FIRST.....otherwise it could turn into a sticky situation.
