writes: i've liked this guy for about 6 years and things are just now getting hot.. i told him that the pot would have to go and he said that there was no problem because he quit on christmas.. and just last night he told me that he couldnt quit. and he was sorry. I dont know what to do .. i reeeally like him and i reeealy hate the pot.. my mom hates pot smokers.. and i just think its plum out nasty. what do i do? i like him ALOT and i dont want him to quit.. what do i do?

 Unfortunately you can't make him stop, this is one of those situations where he has to decide that he would rather have you than pot. Because this is something you feel strongly about I think the easiest thing for you to do is get out of the relationship, atleast until he has spent a significant amount of time not smoking pot. If you continue to see him and accept empty promises to quit, you are going to spend a lot of time upset and frustrated as he dissapoints you. Good luck.
