My guy doesn't understand his actions affect other people! What's his deal?

A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Is my man's behaviour because he has AD/HD or because he's an asshole? He seems to not understand that his own actions effect other people, and he has serious social issues, in that he'll be best friends with someone, but as soon as they start to piss him off he'll just stop seeing them, he doesn't really have any proper friends at all, except for me. He can't decide whether he likes people or not, he'll slag someone off constantly and then admits that he actually quite likes them, and he just will not stop lying.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (9 December 2006):

Well, exceptions DO have to be made for him unfortunately because of his condition.

Talking to your GP could be a help because he/she could perhaps suggest what you could do about it; especially as it's really getting you down and the fact you think he doesn't care.

He does care sweetie, he just has a bad condition and he can get help if you ask for it; which would be better in the long run so get help from your local GP =]
