Question - (11 August 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 12 August 2008)
A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

When the relationship with my gf getting better, I wanted to change myself for her. I asked her about my bad behaviors. She said none but I can see from her action she tried so hard to accept everything about me.

Because that I love her so much, I figure out myself what she doesn't like, what she likes and what to change. Since I changed a bit, with the hope she will be more comfortable in the relationship, it went awkward. She said I am playing games with her, liar and faker.

I have talked to her why I did that and she does understand why but she just doesn't want to believe me. She get so mad and now she leave me.

I know I am wrong but the intention of doing it is right. I am wondering if she loves me that much why couldn't she think more? I don't want to lose her and obviously now she is avoiding me. What I can do to possibly win her back?

A female reader, troysyaussie Australia +, writes (12 August 2008):

troysyaussie agony auntThere are ways to win her back without you needing to say a word. You might not have seen your ex in months or years, but you can waltz into their life and recapture their heart again. If she ever loved you, trust that love is still there, waiting to bloom again. True love never dies, it can only be quietened and hidden. After a break up it's common for us to protect ourselves quickly by putting walls around our heart. Walls are not permanent and time has the power to change things long in the past.

Having loved before is already half the journey there. She must have seen great qualities in you to have loved you once. Try to remember what some of these best qualities are and see how they can be used to draw her back to you. Things changed and you are trying to grow and challenge yourself everyday? If you can show her your best qualities and a hint of newness and change, this will peak her interests and want to be with you again.

We're all fascinated by magic because of the mystery behind it. It's the things we can't explain or know for sure that we constantly want to know about or learn more about. As well as being yourself, present a little mystery and she will be crazy thinking about you. The more she thinks about you, the more she will slowly start to lower her guard around you and consider you her love again.

Talking with her will be a little awkward at first if you haven't seen each other for a while, but if you can woo her enough into spending some alone time with you, it's time to remind her of the past. Share a tender and pleasant memory of the past together and take her back to that moment. Watch her eyes glaze and a smile come across her face. At this moment, it's only a few more steps before she will have fallen be back in love with you.

It's not always easy getting back into contact with someone who leaves you and breaks your heart and often they just plain don't want to talk to you. Understand what she wants and let her know what you want. Be honest with her and yourself.
