My friend says I always seem fearless but I sometimes feel afraid and shy, how come it can be so different what you show and what you feel?

HEHEHEHEHE!!!! well i was talking to my friend cause she's the only one who knows so yeah.... and she said it suprised her because she always saw me as show-no-fear-sam and she gave me all these examples on how i'm fearless : cutting class, telling-off teachers, and getting into fights. and she said WOW! is this guy the only thing making you afraid? so i said i dunno and getting back to track, i just wanted to know if this shy feeling comes to everyone if they like someone, or is it just me, because hearing my friend tell me i was fearless kinda suprised me so yeah.....
