 This is quite the betrayal and it happens all to often. Things this guy should have been telling you, he has been telling someone else. Emotional infidelity grows in such ways.
this says more about this man than it could ever say about you. He is afraid or too lazy to express himself to you so he would rather retreat into the fantasy world of 1's and 0's than contend with the situation at hand.
You shoulld feel blessed that such an avoidant person decided to take the way out. Do you really wish to be carrying the load of 2 people in a relationship? Do you wish to be beholden to his mercurial nature in order to be the object of his affections?
The betrayal hurts but look at the bright side...
