writes:Dear Cupid ,my troubled child now a mom to be is very pregnant now she has a job but her boyfriend waits on her check every pay day he doesn't work she supplies him with money to keep him high but she walks around looking thrown away her feet are coming out of her work shoes mind you she is the one working her whole appearance pisses me off now she is due in May I suspect there may be child neglect when this child is born and I don't want to be the one to turn her in but I might have to if this child is not being taken care of.She had plans to better her life when she graduated but met him and all her dreams went down hill .I hate the fact she won't listen to me about this bum they are living on the street I decided to let her come home cause she is expecting but when is she going to realize this bum is no good for her.

 Once she has the baby she may realize that her paycheck needs to go towards the baby's needs rather than the deadbeat dad and also maybe, just maybe she will begin to see him for what he really is. You can only hope that happens. But you at least will be able to make sure the baby is safe and they have a roof over their heads at night.

 Sometimes, you just have to let a loved one "hit bottom"... such that THEY can learn, ON THEIR OWN, just what life is all about....
Stay on the sidelines - ready to care for your future granddaughter - but don't believe, for a minute, that you can PREVENT your daughter from experiencing the results of her own stupidity.... Love can be "tough" .... and it's even TOUGHER to watch it happen....
