My boyfriend's friend shows more interest in me than my boyfriend

Question - (1 November 2012) 2 Answers - (Newest, 1 November 2012)
A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Recently, my boyfriend and I had a fall out, we're fine now, but things just don't seem the same to me. I love him to bits, and he loves me but I just feel like I make more of an effort than him and miss him more, than he misses me. He always reassures me that I'm just being silly, but I'm not being silly, I'm serious.

On top of that, I've been speaking to one of his friends more and more, I've been told that his friend likes me by numerous people, but I let it go over my head and didn't think about it much until now. We have a laugh and have gotten more open with each other, I've just recently began to pick up on small hints that he may actually like me, but I'm trying not to get too involved. I love my boyfriend more than anything, but this friend of his seems to be showing more interest in me at times than my boyfriend, I'm unsure what to think to be honest. Any suggestions on what I could do?

Say his friend does really like you, are you willing to sacrifice what you currently have for a new relationship? if so, then you should end what you have and seek other mate.

Rule of thumb, and morally never ever choose between friends it's unhealthy for all parties involved.

Yes, carry on letting it go over your head and try not to focus on these "Things" he does that indicate he likes you. If you love your boyfriend and have no feelings for his friend then what is the point in entertaining the notion that he's into you?
