writes:I am on my school's swim team with my boyfriend. We had a pasta party at his house to build up some carbs for the meet the next day. We were bringing some food that wasn't done yet, and my friend needed to run by her house to grab something, so we ended up a little late. When we got there, everyone was in the pool so we just talked, and everyone started getting out to meet my little sister. I was very respectable to his parents and his mom really seems to love me. His dad on the other hand doesn't like me or my family because we came late and "made everyone get out of the pool". Do you think there is a real reason or does he just not want to like me? Anything I should or can do? His dad is a bit strict from what I have been told. Any and all help would be great! Thank you! Reply to this Question

 Not everyone is likely to be such a stickler for promptness.... but, evidently, this guy's Dad IS. If there's a "lesson" here... it's to be sure to be on time for your commitments......
I'll bet that - over time - if you keep seeing your B/F, AND if you don't repeat your transgression, then he will warm up to you.....
