 Without knowing the extent of how bib the lie was its very hard to awswer. Was it a small white lie, and was it a big lie that betrayed your trust. I think for people to help you here you need to elaborate abit more.

But for now if it was little and you can see yourself moving past it. Give yourself some distance and then go and talk to him fresh.
If it was bigger and you doubt you can move past it, maybe you will have to move on.
