My boyfriend chose to move away. Is there any way he will change his mind?

A age 30-35, * writes:

"I'm in love with an amazing person, a person that has made me happier than anyone ever has, in such little time, and only by being herself. I thought i couldn't love a person more than my first love, but this is so different, to be emotionally and physically connected on the level i feel, is absolutely mind boggling. But i had to make this decision when i finally realize all of this..... please forgive me...."

My boyfriend of three months posted this to my facebook wall. He currently is most likely moving back to North Carolina to be with his mom and since I live states away from there, we have to break up. He had a choice and I told him he should do what he wants because if I'm the only reason he's staying...I just want him to be happy

So he chose to move. DO you think there is any chance he might change his mind and stay? I know it sounds selfish but I really love him alot. We dated for only 6 months but we connected, we have everything in common, stop non stop...this is the first time I've had a bf like him. Help?

I don't think he will change his mind. You're not being selfish by wanting him to stay that's just natural. Let him go.

I doubt he will change his mind. Sorry. Why can't you have an LDR? People have LDRs that span across countries, is there a reason you can't have one that spans across states?
