writes: help im 19 and ive been with my boy friend for 2 years he is 24 our relationship is ok we dont do anything at all and i'm lucky if i have sex once a month, he really gets on with my family he knew my older bro before me and got to know my younger bro and he goes out every weekend with them and if i go out with my mam over the local pub he is there coz thats where he goes every weekend, the thing is the boy i was sort of with before my boyfriend now has just come back from swindon and i really like him, but if i finish with my boyfriend now i think my family wont like me for doing it and it might spoil things between my brothers and him please help and give me advice

First of all, it is not fair on either you or your boyfriend to stay with him to please your family. I'm sure your family will understand that you don't want to be with him anymore, and it sounds like he is pretty close to your brothers, and he knew them before you anyway, so I don't think the two of you not being together would change that.
Having said that though, are you sure there is no hope for your relationship with your boyfriend? Maybe you could try doing more as a couple, or talk to him about how you feel, before you decide to call it quits. Whatever happens- whether you stay and give it a chance with your boyfriend, or go to this new guy, I'm sure it will work out fine- good luck xoxo
