 This is a hard question to answer because I dont know either yourself or your bf and what makes you tic. In general I would think carefully about your partnership and what makes you special. Also what makes your bf special to you and maybe buy something symbolic of that. You don't even need to buy something as such, maybe you could arrange a special event you know you would both enjoy together and make it really romantic so you give him a memory and a wonderful time as his present.
Be creative and original, he will appreciate it all the more if it something which shows you understand and appreciate his chracter because it will be personal to him and your partnership. Sorry I couldnt be more help with this, hope my suggestions are some help and that you enjoy your anniversery.
