writes:Look, I love my best friend to bits. Shes kind, can keep a secret, sticks up for me and is generally amazing... but there are a few things that have been bugging me for a while now.. firstly shes so unorganised... infact thats pretty much the only problem but it stems off into other problems..1. She has been meaning to get her provisional liscence ever since she turned 17... it just hasnt happened yet! We were born pretty close together and i've already passed. Which means im the one always driving her around, now I dont mind this at all, its not the cost or anything and she does sometimes give me money for petrol (nowhere near enought but then she doesnt know the cost as she doesnt drive bless her and its a sweet thought) but im more annoyed at the fact that every time we go out she gets to go enjoy herself wheras I cant even have one drink cos im driving.. and I keep telling her to apply for her provisional but she just 'keeps forgetting'.2. She is always late for everything. No joke. And usually by at least an hour an a half. For our prom she turned up as the limo went down the drive.. and had to get changed in it! I wouldnt mind, cos sometimes it doesnt matter like if were at mine or something, but when im waiting in town by myself for over an hour, or if we are getting ready to go out some place and then end up being late for a party or whatnot because of her its not great. Like I say, its just because its been happening for a long time now im getting fed up. And she cant even tell me if shes gonna be late because....3. She has no phone. She HAD one. But it broke. Two years ago. And again she hasnt got around to getting a new one. Now im sure you could get a cheap one for like a tenner and a new sim card, just so I could be able to get in touch with her at crucial moments when I need to know something... at least I know what to get her for xmas...Also money is really not a problem in their family!So I dont know what to do... because I cant exactly say something to her about this because it may look a little wierd! But I love her to bits... i'm just so fustrated with this! Any ideas?x

 at least for problem 1 i have a suggestion. go to the library or one of your houses and say oh hey now we have time to fill out that provisional app. now, and if she starts getting wishy washy about it just say, hey you know, you either fill this out or i'm not driving us anywhere tonight/tomorrow/whenever.
this is sort of what satin said, but set time deadlines for her, if you aren't ready in 20 more minutes I'm gonig to go, 90 minutes is UNACCEPTABLE!
your friend is flakey and a little more of the dreamy side, and if those kinds of character traits get on your nerves i would also suggest diversifying your friend group so you aren't completely depending on someone that is fairly undependable. i don't mean stop being friends with her, but you're probably getting sick of her doing this to you becauseu you're around it all the time. so spend a little less time with her just so you can try to blow some steam off that way too.

my best friend is the same way! omg! shes unorganized, we always late, she the first to get in the shower and the last one to get oout. and plus she has a baby, she lose all important papers, she cant make any appointments for her baby. shes very messy and im clean freak! its crazzy because in march she sleaving to go away and i just cant wait! dnt get me wrongi love her we just cant live together. idk what to do,when i talk to her she get offended, so i keep my mouth shut. any advice!!!!!
