writes: Hey all.Okay I met this really cute girl on a night out. Unfortunately she was drunk or at least quite merry ( she couldnt rememeber stuff that happened and hour ago).She kept on asking me any my friend back for a house party which rapidly appeared to just involve me and her.Now Im not a prude, I love sex and she was very attractive to me. But I helped her friend and her get a cab and kissed her goodnight (very very nice) and that was it.i cant help feel like a fool , If this girl had been sober then i would definitely have gone home with her even if it was just to chat and get to know her better. Just wondered if it was a missed oppurtunity.My gut instinct tells me that I would die if in the morning she woke up looked over and felt sad or upset because I was beside her.I wondered what you guys thought, Am I a total idiot?

Thing is if Im gonna be honest here, is that i do miss sex and cannot wait to meet the right girl and in the course of time have many many steamy nights, ah well a guy can dream cant he.

I think you are someone worth having, someone who has respect enough for himself not to need to exploit a woman for some impulsive sex.
I also think you are a real man and one who can look after a woman even when she's incapable of looking after herself... she's very lucky it was you she ran into... many men WOULD have been the TOTAL IDIOTS, but that definitely is not you.

No, I don't think you are an idiot but a standup guy. Next time something like this happens, you may consider asking for her phone number and calling her up the next day or the day after that. You may consider finding a way to bump into her again. But you did the right thing and if you are interested in more than a one night stand with this girl or more than a short lived fling, I am thinking you did the best thing by not sleeping with her so soon.
