My wife has sunbathed topless for years, usually on holiday in Europe but on UK beaches and in the garden as well.I felt a little nervous when she started but when there are other topless women on the beach it is no big deal. She looks good topless and I love her tan with no white bits on the boobs!She used to ask if I "minded" but it is always her decision. She enjoys the feeling of sun on her chest and the freedom from fiddling with straps to try and even out her tan.If in doubt, go for it! Other men will look but they would if she was wearing a top!

 Trust me Flynn, I understand plenty about getting proper sun exposure because of my need for vitamin D. At my age, if I didn't know about that, I'd feel sorry for me.
However, I get plenty through my bedroom window and never go outside without sunscreen and long sleeves on.
I live in Oklahoma. No beaches here.
I appreciate your advice, it's totally unnecessary, however. ^_^

I would rather be pale with soft young skin than look like a leather handbag by the time I'm 30!"You realise that you NEED at least a small amount of exposure to the sun or else you'll end up resembling a zombie.So long as you take the right pre-cautions and try to avoid too much exposure during the hotter periods of the day, like from lunch until mid-afternoon and re-apply your sunscreen every few hours or so... I see no reason why you can't enjoy a day at the beach with your tits out.Lord knows, an attractive woman with her breasts out for all to see can only enhance an already nice view of the ocean.Flynn 24

Personally I wouldn't do it anyway, but lets assume for the sake of this question that I love getting sunburned boobies. You can get arrested for public indecency if you do it in the UK so I'll also assume I'm on holiday and on a beach.
My husband does not "let" me do anything. I don't ask his permission. I am a British woman in 2009 and I will do what I damn well please as long as it's not hurting any one.
If he did REALLY not like it then I would take his feelings into account and perhaps only do it in secluded places, amongst other women, etc.
It's not a matter of permission. It's a matter of him telling me calmly when he doesn't like something and I will respect that and we will reach a compromise.

Even though that is much worse of course, just saying you can tell your partner what they can and cannot do depending on the extemity of it!

i personally wouldn't do it, just not my thing. but the reason i am replying to this, is because it's not up to the guy to tell his girl what she can and can't do. if a girl wants to sunbathe topless then she should. no1 should ever tell her to do anything. anyway it would be so hypercritical of a guy to tell his girl to cover up, even though if he saw another woman topless he would be staring at her. it's up to the girl. not the guy!

But I digress. No, none of my partners have had a problem with it, as long as I sunbathed topless in appropriate areas, such as topless or nude beaches, or in my own backyard or private, fenced area where I couldn't get into trouble with the police.
