A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

im friends with my ex now ...she left the town 2 months back and has come for 2 days ...we both are like playing mind games with each other since we broke up and showing we dont care ....i feel she has started taking me for granted because everytime i have been calling her and knowing how she is doing ...she has never called me from her side but hardly texts once in a while ...i think she is amused to see me wanting her even as a friend....she just text this morning "hey m back and i'l be leaving on monday night" and i replied "hey nice 2 see you back teena, have fun" and she didnt reply after that...i think we both will be waiting and watching who texts first in this week's time ...by that time she would have packed her bags ...i want to clear everything up but dont want to look like a despo cuz she already thinks im an emotional fool...what to do ?
