I am a married woman with two children and love sex but i have never reached an orgasm since i was married. I further have a tendancy to "dry" up during sex and this is realy frustrating to myself. Why do i dry up and how come i cannot reach an orgasm? Please could someone help me as i do not know what to do and i am feeling guilty.

A reader, fran, writes (7 February 2005):

you dont have to feel guilty at all. it is very common in women to not orgasm. have you tried different positions or getting a book that specifies positions for that problem? try a little foreplay to get you going, you may find yourself drying up because the thought of yourself not reaching an orgasm is putting you off. make sure you have explained your worries to your partner so that you both can try new methods out. and most importantly relax. you wont get anywhere thinking about it.

All about the motion. Try KY Warming Lubricant, it may help. Change positions, try being on top.
