writes:I just had a question, my dad grew up with sisters, so he knows all about periods and stuff, so it's easy to talk to him about this stuff, but he told me that if I didn't worry about my period or anything, like not be paranoid that the bleeding would only occur for like 2 days. Usually i bleed for 7 days, and i would be so happy if it only bled for 2 days. I was just wondering if this was true. Does anybody know?Thanks!

 yes it varies. im 38 and when i was your age i was on it for about 1 or 2 days. lightly. now that im older its more like a week! its weird for me coz ive never had it this long. i think every lady is different.

It all depends on the girl.
I'm 16...and have had my period for a couple years.
Mine generally are anywhere from 5-7 days.
MOST people have it for 5-7 days...there are very few lucky girls who have it for like 2 or 3.
So yep, everything is normal :D.
