i have been in a long distance relationship for five years now and we visit eachother on holidays.this time around we had a great time and spent all the time together but now that the trip is coming to an end everytime i ask when we will meet he says he has stuff to do or the tyre is flat and there is a shortage of petrol so he used that too.i got mad and we had a fight. Am i being naive to want spend all the time in the world with him? he is just snapping at me now. should i apologise and say that i was being childish?how can i fix this with him before i leave?

A female reader, Starlights United Kingdom +, writes (1 January 2012):

Starlights agony auntThere is nothing wrong with wanting to spend time with your boyfriend, its healthy.

However circumstances do crop up and he may be having a stressful time which does not help him share his time with you. Be understanding if you want this to work. But know that your entitled to your time with him also.

If you want to avoid all this tension, why dont you move near to him?

this way you can spend most of your time with him!

Goodluck!
