Hi people,

Simple question for the ladies here...

I've got my girlfriend a Valentines card. It's nice and jokey too, about how she's the best kisser ever lol. She's my first proper girlfriend and my first valentine, we're both 19.

If I was to write in the card some stuff like "You're the first person I think of when I wake up, and the last person I think of when I go to sleep" and maybe some more 'soppy' (Cheesey?) stuff like that, would you think I'm being weird or too cheesey? Or would you think I'm being really sweet and nice?

Though it's true, she is the first person I think of when I wake up etc...

Thanks people...

Thanks for the replies. I have written it in the card. Yeah, it is how i feel, so its not made up words to make her feel good ;)

I just wasnt sure if most girls liked all the mushy stuff in their cards lol.

Thanks all...

Havent actually seen her yet today, will be seeing her in an hour though...

Bev Conolly agony auntThere's no one right answer to this question. Whether or not you phrase it exactly like that depends on the woman you're with. Ask yourself if those are the very words you'd use if you planned to say those things to her personally... and if they are, then the answer is GO AHEAD.

Most women love to hear what's actually in your heart, so go with what feels real to you. Cheesy/soppy romance or poems and so on are great if that's what you truly feel. Just don't make up something because you *think* it's what she wants to hear.

Hope this is a little insight for you! :)
