Question - (8 March 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 8 March 2010)
A male United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hey, I'm 13 and my girlfriend and I have been together for about a month. I've never had my first kiss before but she has. She says she's ready to make out with me, but I'm scared that I might not be good enough for her since I haven't had any experience at all. She wants to kiss the next time we go on a date which could be soon and all I want to do is impress her. I want to kiss her but I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP!

A female reader, Angzw Zimbabwe +, writes (8 March 2010):

When you kiss her just don't try stick your tongue in her mouth and also make sure you don't have a mouthful of saliva to drown her with. Just try keeping your lips soft and lightly moist; use a chapstick if it will help. Also make sure your teeth are brushed or you have gargled with a minty mouth wash. This may sound silly but make sure you have eaten a couple of hours before so that you don't have that morning/hungry ketone smell on your breath. If you eat something together, then go to the men's room and just gargle with clean water then chew some minty gum for about a minute and discard. As you become more familiar with her you don't need to do this whole routine; its just that first impressions are everything and fresh breath will make you more confident. When you kiss start off with single 2 second kisses with half second breaks in between; rather than trying a lengthy snog first. Practice on your hand if you like. After that just go with the flow. If your breath is fresh and you control your saliva and your tongue, then you will be fine.
