Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help.. Basically I met a guy on holiday in Majorca, Spain about 6 years ago, he worked as a rep for the hotel and we became friends while I was there. We swapped addresses and telephone numbers, and the last time we were in contact was about 2 years ago. He told me he'd moved on to Granada and had bought a restaurant there. Thing is, my phone broke and I've lost his number, I also cannot find his address anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas how I could find him?? I obviously have his full name and location but he doesn't appear to be in any web phone directories/facebook/myspace- anything! I've searched the internet but I can't track this guy down! I would be so grateful for suggestions as I am at a loss, other than to trawl Granada! Thanks xxxx

Artistry agony auntHi, Sorry I was thinking Hotel, but the same thing goes for restaurant. There should be a restaurant association for restaurants in Granada, a business association that helps restaurants with their business needs. In addition, as he purchased the business, he would be listed in the real estate information for business ownership, there should be a deed of record at their City Hall or the equivalent in Granada. Try that. Good Luck. I just believe you'll be successful. The deed information may be available on the internet. Take care.

I've now emailed tourist boards etc and the hotel he used to work at to see if anyone can give me any information. If I get anywhere I will let you know! Thanks again x

Artistry agony auntHi, Not to be funny, but this could be a good movie script, I do think I saw a movie like this. Here is my sugggestion, you could find out if there is a Hotel Association in Granada, write or call them, giving his name and see if they have any informantion, or if they have his name and will not give the information to you, ask them to forward a closed letter tbat you write, giving him your telephone number, and address. You might also call Granada, to see if there is a Hotel Employees Union, and try the same thing. If this fails, then try requesting from a travel agency, information about the major hotels in Granada, crossing them off one by one, and writing to them, or callin, if you can afford it. Chief of Staff at the hotels should be sufficient. It may take a while, but if he is that important to you, I'll bet you will find him eventually. Good luck, if you find him please, please let me know. Thanks. Take care.
