Im currently reading a book 'How to talk to women'

The co authors seem to know a lot about this as they seem to have done many years research.

They talk a lot about how you should not take the mick about yourself when joking with women as it sounds wussy, and also believe that being sweet, shy and quiet is unattractive...is this true??

(ps i hope not,as i am more of this nature, and as i have no look with girls anyway will be a harsh reality to face)

anyway..your views would be welcome??

A female reader, pica +, writes (15 October 2006):

How to talk to women?? Hmm .. how to make money from unsure young men ;)) Seriously, by all means try to increase your own confidence but don't feel you need a particular kind of personality to attract women. We're all different and so are men. Be yourself. Women (and men) can often tell when someone's faking it and that is a real turn-off. Just treat people in general with respect and consideration - the way you'd want to be treated yourself. Being a decent person is - I think - an attractive factor even if you've got a bad sense of humour and less than good sense in clothes ;)) Not that I mean you, honestly!
