I understand how you feel.

I'm 17 as well, and for almost 3 weeks now, I've had my period at a steady flow. It's not miscarriage for me or pregnancy problems because I'm not sexually active, but it could be hormonal imbalance or uteral problems.

My mom thinks that it's because I was inactive before and quite lazy, I'll admit, and just this week I started exercising to lose weight. I suggest that you go see a Gynecologist to talk about it and have you checked out. I think that's what I'm going to do...

Allrighty. Im 17 too actually. And just today I got mine in the middle of the month I don't usually get it till the 30th and anyway, that's happend to me as well, your body is producing a lot of hormones and stuff so that's why its happening, but if it keeps going consult a doctor. Cause that's no way to live. And another thing , get put on the pill you'll be safe sexually and it will help properly regulate your period. Hope I helped .. Feel better -maddie

hey it happened to me before when i was changing pills but it wasnt a full on period it was just sort of break through bleading for a whole month, it did freak me out but nothing was wrong so dont worry to much about it. But if you are worried request a female doctor next time you go, I cant get over what a difference that makes they really listen and assure you. Good luck xx
