A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *aty-Conners writes:

Okay, So I Was With This Guy Brad For Nearly 3 Months, But I Broke Up With Him 2 Weeks Ago. I've Had A Thing For His Mate Mark For 2 Months, But I Knew It Would Never Go Anywhere, As Mark Doesn't Like Me, And He Is Brad's Friend. But He Has Always Flirted With Me. The Only Thing Is, He Is A Massive Flirt, So That's Perfectly Normal.

Anyway, Recently, We Got Into A Silly Debate About Girls Being Better Kissers Than Boys. He Was Arguing Saying He Knew He Is An Amazing Kisser, And I Can't Generalise Like That, And I Said I Would Not Change My Mind Until Proven Wrong. So He Said He Would Kiss Me The Next Day And Prove Me Wrong - Bliss!

Except, I Have Met The Most AMAZING Guy Ever, Andy. He Is STUNNING, And Talented. He's In An Band, He Lives Near Me, He's Sweet, And Romantic, And Funny, And Totally Crazy, - He's Perfect, And He Likes Me!

So, I Kissed Mark, As A Joke, And It Should Have Been Done. But Then He Said That I Pulled Away Too Early And That He Didn't Get To Finish. Last Night He Started Making Jokes About Me Having Dented His Pride/

Today He Picked Me Up In The Car And I Went Back To His. We Chatted, And He Was Even More Flirty Than Usual, Something I Had Thought Impossible!! Then He Said He Wanted To Save His Pride. He Snogged Me Four Times In A Day!!!

We Went Into College, And Some Mutual Friends Asked If We Were Dating Cuz We Had Been Together So Much And I Said No. He Waited For Me To Finish Class And Drove Me Home. On The Journey Home, He Said That Our Mutual Friend Ziggy (Girl) Knew Everything. I Was So Embarissed.

Anyway, He Said, Ziggy Had Asked If We Were Going To Go Out, And Mark Looked At Me, And Said, I Dont Know.

So Now, I Think He May Actually Want To Date Me!! But The Thing Is, I Don't Want Mark, I Want Andy - It Was Just A Silly Joke That Went Too Far, But I Dont Know How To Tell Him This Without Sounding Like A Total Cow! How Do I Tell Him So He's Not Hurt, I Wanna Still Be Friends, But Without Sounding Like An Idiot Because He Doesn't Actually Want A Relationship - I Mean, He Could Be Thinking Friends With Benefits!!!

Please Help SOON!

BlondeBabe x agony auntI agree if you andy is the one that you liek then why did you snog Mark ???

You need to decide who you want then let that perosn down gently, saying that you really want to stay friends but nothing more.

You sound a bit mixed up. If you are so keen on Andy, why did you let the other one snog you so much. Tell him you want a relationship and although he is attractive to you, you want someone you can have more with.

If you can't make your mind up in future, try just staying friends so you don't hurt anyone.

A reader, anonymous, writes (5 November 2008):

This is impossible to read without mental stammering. Why do you capitalise every word? What's the point?

The eduacational system in the UK has a lot to answer for.
