A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hello everyone,

I have a slight issue with this boy who I like and apparently he likes me too.

You see he was talking to me on the internet and I don't know if he thinks I am thick but he sent me a message which was apparently from this girl who he had, or thought he had had sex with.

The message was from 'her' (who I think is actually him) and it was saying how nothing happened blah blah blah . . . It also said something about this party at her house which would be her and her friends and him, but he would be the only boy. I'm sorry but I can't see how you can think you had sex with someone, you would remember if you had even if you were drunk, the only time you woudn't remember would be if you had drugs, but he told me he doesn't. When he told me he had had sex I was a little upset so now I think he is trying to pretent he didn't - he's doing a bad job of it though. And about that party I think he's just trying to make himself seem like mr.irresistable and make me jelouse, but the thing is I don't get jelouse I'm 15 it's not like I'm marrying the boy. Anyway it just annoyed me, I don't really know what I'm asking I was just annoyed and it helps to tell people, do you think what I am thinking it true, he is just trying to make me think he hasn't had sex, and there isn't really a party, because if this is the case it means he has lied to me, when he told me he woudn't. Any comments are always appreciated. Thank you xxx

Hi there. Perhaps he was trying to big note himself and to impress you.

Just ignore it. It's rather childish and serves no real purpose.

Just ignore his comments like that, and change the subject completely - as if he never said it in the first place.

He's trying to get a reaction out of you. He's wasting his time.

A female reader, Desiray.  United Kingdom +, writes (22 May 2011):

I reckon you should tell any boy that lies to you, to piss off, tbh. His story doesn't quite add up? And if he did send you that message, it's even weirder.

But I have to disagree with you on the whole, drink-drug things. I remember most things when I smoke weed, and almost nothing if I drink too much.
