A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *tar_crossd writes:

hi im 20 years old and i'm at university i dated this girl a year ago and we were very close we only went out for 5 months or so but we were friends before that. We broke up because -quote ' you just don't have time for a girlfriend' so she left me however she was really upset and at the time i felt ok ive had another girlfriend since then but thats over since shes moved abroad it was more casual anyway and shes had another boyfriend which she has broken up with. I know she was very upset when we broke up for quite a while and i could have gotten back with her very easily for maybe 3 months after we broke up but at the time my life was a mess and i for one reason or another didn't. I stay at home and commute to uni and she stays out about an hours drive away i know she really liked me and wanted to eventually marry me as our fathers are old friends and she thought it would be great but shes far away and i've missed her for the last 6 months so badly without anyone noticing except a female friend or two who somehow work it out but i want to get back with her, is it wise or even healthy for me to be thinking about her or should i really let it go?
