It seems like they don't want to hang out with me any more...

Question - (2 October 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 2 October 2009)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I just started working! My two best friends think its great but why would they not tell me that they were hanging out together today! They talked about it during school like I wasn't there. I'm mad because I feel left out. What should I do? It hurts my feelings that they're having a sleepover and I'm stuck doing nothing. I asked Lisa if she wanted to hang out Saturday but she didn't tell me why! Now I know what shes doing hanging out with Grace. It makes me feel like they don't want to hang out with me anymore.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (2 October 2009):

Don't let this get to you too much. Girls' relationships are very up and down. I suggest you let this one slide, and see what happens in the future. If they miss you out more, then you need to talk to them. They may think it would get in the way of your job. Wait and see what happens before making any sudden moves.
