writes:I am currently living in europe and a few months ago a guy that is from my hometown added me on fb.. I had never met him though.. we went to the same high school for only a year before he moved somewhere else.. he lives in kuwait now.. anyways we started talking online and now it has turned into us talking everyday.. without fail.. at first I was like not interested in him.. but a few weeks ago i realized that i did.. so then his work schedule changed and we werent talking as much.. I then told him that I really hate it when we don't talk..and then i confessed to him that I liked him.. he seemed surprised at it.. b/c up until that point i actually didnt. so he then told me that he liked me too. and he was messaging me constantly.. letting me know where he was and everything.. it was really nice.. then i noticed that there was a girl that was posting stuff on his myspace and facebook that obviously liked him as well.. so it was obvious to me that they talk regularly. I asked him about it and said you know that i like you and i dont want to get more emotionally invested if youre talking to someone else, and that meeting him the next week(cause he had a layover in my city) he then says that they do talk but are not together and that he doesnt have feelings for anyone right now. so at this point im like wtf cause i thought he said he did a week earlier.. so after he said that i said 'okay thats all i needed to know' and i ignored him for like two days. at this point i was thinking maybe i just needed to walk away.. he was constantly messaging me trying to talk.. i finally gave in and talked to him and i just never brought it back up and we actually did meet today at the airport and it went very well.. i really like him and we ended up kissing. he is going to come back here for a week to visit. oh and this other girl is saying that she is going to visit him in kuwait in july.. wtf....i just want to know if yall think that he likes me.. does he like this other girl..? does he like us both? is he playing both of us? advice please! oh and what should i do now?!

reader, anonymous, writes (18 March 2010): I was going to say he is just keeping his options open before he gets too serious, because he lives so far away, and that he's not playing anyone, but then I scrolled up and read the one answer posted and someone had said that exact same thing. So because I believe so much that he is just doing that, I'd just like to second the first answer, and then maybe you'll believe it to be really true. You can believe me that I never posted twice as the anonymous and then my name, but I must say that was really awesome because it was the first time, word for word pretty much, that someone actually wrote exactly what I was going to say.
