writes:i'm not sure if one of my guy friends likes me, he texts me everyday, hugs me alot and a couple of days ago he put his arm round me. we were talking and he said that he couldnt tell me who he and his friend were talking about and then i asked could he tell me who it was and he said that it involved me and a guy but he probabally wouldnt act on it. he also said i might be freaked out if he told me. could he like me and how could i suggest to him i like him back? sorry its really long.

reader, anonymous, writes (28 August 2009): It's not long at all. Although I would bet my weekly allowance its him, there's no real way of being completely sure. Could he like you? Yes he most definately could. How you tell him you like him is simple, just tell him. Don't tell him on the basis that you think the mystery guy is him, tell him because you like him and you'll be fine.
