 I think you are the "normal " one. There are scores of very young girls that do not feel even remotely ready for sex but brainwash themselves into believing the opposite, because of peer and media pressure, need for social acceptance in a group of "cool " people, or search for the self esteem boost that comes from feeling sexually desirable. All the wrong reasons,actually. You'll be ready when you'll be ready,don'y worry.

reader, anonymous, writes (12 May 2010): Nothings wrong with you. You shouldn't be interested in sex right now anyway. You don't have anyone you're in love with and you are only 16. You apparently do have a sex drive if four other boyfriend have almost gotten into your pants, as you say. This seems to me like you just haven't found that perfect guy yet. No reason to rush it at all. From someone who lost there virginity at 17, to the completely wrong guy, let me tell you it's good to wait to have sex at this age.
