A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

hello everyone. So just like almost every man in this world, im finding it hard to understand women. There is this young lady who i work with (i know, dont date those you work with) that i cant tell if she is just being flirty or if its more than that. After my last relationship ended there were alot of girls who said i was the perfect guy and wanted to date me. This particular girl is sort of in a relationship but its not going so well but she still tells me im the perfect, sweetest, most caring...etc, guy. Now recently she started talking to me all the time (sometimes about what i like sexualy), randomly hugging me, and i notice her staring at me all the time. I haven't had alot of experience with women and i was wondering if you guys think shes just being a girl or if it seems like shes interested?

Thank you for your time.

Yea, you're right, never easy to really know what goes on in their pretty little heads!

She's certainly showing all the signs of being very interested in you but in my book, there's only one certain way to know for sure - ask her out. Yea, I know, there's always the humiliating risk of a knock-back but if you ask in the manner of "I generally like to go for a drink/ pizza/ dancing/ bowling etc. on a Friday night - care to join me?"

That way, if you get rejection it won't be embarrassing because you've implied your going anyway!

Good luck - let us know how it pans out.
