A female South Africa age 30-35, anonymous writes:

i live in a multicultural country and have never been attracted to guys from my own race(asian). so recently i started dating this white guy, he says he is crazy about me, but always avoids being out in public with me, or introducing me to his parents. he hasn't told any of his friends about us despite the face that all my friends know about him.

A lot of the time i feel that he doesn't really want to be with me but when ever i ask him about it he avoids the question completely.

the race thing has never bothered me, but recently i heard that his friends were trying to set him up with a girl of his own race, which means they dont know about us. what should i do?

I doubt it's race but it's very likely he is seeing someone else or wants to keep his opportunities open by not looking attached to you.
