Is my conscience is telling me to do something about my crush?

A female Australia age 36-40, anonymous writes:

For the past few weeks, I suddenly developed a crush on my class mate. I am especially attracted to his personality and how we share the same interests.

This may sound out of the ordinary, but what made me notice him at first when we first met was after having a dream about him, it was a pleasant dream and in it we were just getting along and being friendly with eachother. At first I thought this was nothing, but these sort of dreams have been recurring again

On the subject of these sort of dreams, this happened to me a few years ago when at school. I had a dream about this guy that I didn't really know and after this I started to notice him and shortly after that we were in a serious relationship for over a year and he was my first love.

However, for the past couple of days I have been doubting myself on what to do about this situation - whether or not to tell him that I like him given that it is early days within this crush etc. So, I've been thinking to myself that maybe I should get over this crush and I have been telling myself that it is nothing. The following day, same dream but this time there was affection.

I'm intrigued by what has been happening and how my dreams have been influencing my feelings.

Could this be a sign that my conscience is telling me to do something?

RedAthena agony auntMany people believe dreams are our conscience revealing desires and fears.

It sounds like a pleasant dream. How are things in reality? Have you spent time talking to him? Have you invited him for a meal or some entertainment?

Spend time with him to see if he is more than a possible crush.
