Yes, I was gutted when I found out that my ex had a new girlfriend, even though i had a boyfriend and i felt i was over him.It was well over a year but he was my first love. But i feel sorry for her because he keeps breaking up with her and going with other girls, then going back to her. That would have been me.its took me so long to realise. But yes these feelings are normal, because you cant help thinking "that was me once". You'll get over it. And i know my ex feels the same,I still talk to him purely as a friend and he so curious and asking questions about my current bf.He'll probably think the same if he sees you happy with someboby else.

It makes sense, you used to be intimate with them and shared something special together. So it may be natural to feel jealous when you see them with someone new; for a little while at least.

It's one of those things you need to see that usually helps you get over them. I think once you are totally over someone, you won't feel jealous or weird when you see them with someone else.

I don't ever remember feeling jealous when I saw my ex's had moved on, if anything it was a relief. It did feel a little weird, but like I said, that's normal considering the circumstances!
