writes:I had my second date with a girl I really like last night. We also shared our first kiss, which makes me feel like a kid in high school again. I can't get her off my mind. She sent me a text after I dropped her off saying that she enjoyed the night, which I responded with I did as well. We've already made tentative plans for next week, but I want to call or text her today and don't want to seem too needy.I guess my question is, is it too soon to contact her? I'm not at all the needy type, but have these butterflies in my stomach since the kiss.We usually text or chat everyday, I just want it to be awkward.

reader, anonymous, writes (14 January 2009): sweet, i think a simple text no more than once a day is good, maybe text her right before you go to bed so she knows you're thinking about her. however, you don't need to tell her what you ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. say something romantic and mysterious, and then leave it at that. as a girl i would probably sad if i didn't hear from you once a day, but i also would say that you were stalking me if you texted alot. i know, we girls are not the easiest creatures to figure out...lol

Everyone wants to find someone that cares about them. It would show her that you can't stop thinking about her. She most likely feels the same way. Don't think. Just do :).
