writes:HiIm on the pill and wanting to bring my period forward by a few days. I have two pills left in the pack at the moment. Is it ok to not take these 2 pills and then start the next pack after the 7 day break?? Will i still be protected against pregnancy? I need to know asap as if it wont work i will need to take my next pill in a couple of hours?thanks

reader, anonymous, writes (15 March 2008): I would say don't risk it, but if the reason you want your period early is so it ends sooner as you have something planned in a few days just start your next pack without the break and it will stop you having a period this month. This is safe to do as one off.

I would take the pills to be on the safe side, as your body may bring the period on earlier but then again it may not I did this once and I had to start all over again from the start as it messed my periods up...Thats just me though and my advise hun ok TAKE CARE WITH LOVE N HUGS MANDY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

 It really depends on how long you have been taking the pill I have been on it for 6 years and stopped taking it 3 months ago as my fiance and I are trying for a baby but no pragnancy yet!!! so I dont think 2 days is going to make a big difference however I could be wrong so dont be too carefull if your that worried just use condoms answer to the other qustion if you dont take the 2 tablets yes it will bring your period on sooner. hope ive been of some help
