Many women can feel if they are pregnant somewhere between immediately and the next day. Even young women might have had an abortion or miscarriage, so they know the feelings. Others might just feel a bit different and guess they are pregnant, so it's best to get an OTC test kit. The good ones are incredibly sensitive and specific.
Your gf may have already run a test, but more likely just has the feelings of pregnancy. Don't waste time - find out quickly and then talk about your options immediately and sensitively. If you two don't intend to continue the pregnancy, make plans accordingly and immediately. Regardless, she will require your full support.
If she's not pregnant and you two don't want her to be, two different forms of birth control at a time are the best option to feel safe.

 if its only been a week i highly think that she is .. but she may know her cycle really well and all so i have no idea, i have thought many times that i was but it always became a false alarm... dont worry just go to the drug store and take the test good luck!

 Some women are very in touch with their bodies. She might be one of them! However, most of the women that do "know" immediately have been pregnant before and are well aware of how this feels, which probably isn't a description of your young girlfriend. I'd recommend taking an over the counter test or seeing a Doctor instead of second-guessing yourselves.
