 For most teenage and 20-something guys, it will have a mind of its own sometimes. Standing at attention at the wrong moment, etc. It is not weird it is normal. When you get older it will stop acting up so much; I don't know if that is a good thing or not.
The important thing now is not to let it do your thinking for you. You are in charge and you decide what to do. It is going to constantly but thoughts in your mind, like really great asses (not that there is anything wrong with that) and you will not be able to block those thoughts completely. You are just going to have to deal with it and decide what to do based on everything you know, not just what it is telling you.
Before long one of your buddies will not follow the above advice, and you will see what kind of trouble it will lead to.

I am old enough to be your mother, so I guess I would suggest to you that it's one thing to feel those feelings, and another thing entirely to act on those feelings. It's the second half of that last sentence where most human beings get themselves in trouble! :)
