 You don't say what you mean by "date". If it is just being friends and hanging out occasionally, there is nothing wrong with this as far as I can see. I had several "friends who were girls", not GF's in the popular meaning, who were a few years older than me when I was fourteen or fifteen. There was nothing "inappropriate" about it. We just happened to be neighbors and friends for a long time and had many like interests. If you are talking about a romantic involvement, however,...I would forget it. Therein lies trouble. Or if he should get the idea that you are interested in such a relationship, that could also cause problems. Guys that age are as vulnerable as girls the same age. Caution.
