Is his soapy smell the sign of an affair!?

I stayed over my b'f's place. The next night after work--he was going to pick me up again and he never changes his clothes after work because he gets to wear jeans and only changes if we are going some place nice. He was home for a few hours but but when he picked me up at about 11pm,he had different jeans on.HE said the other ones were too tight. The next day around 1pm or so(this is personal but i was performing oral sex and he smelled of soap like he just showered or something which he didn't. Is this a red flag that something went on at work and he was covering the smell of another woman? or since it was about 13 hours later if he did wash up--would it be possible to still smell the soap? Meaning maybe he just washed up in the morning after using the bathroom. Should this be of concern to me? Need to know if this is a red flag
