 Depends on the porn. Guys like naked women. As long as it's not all he does (or illegal porn) I say just let him be natural with it. He does need to keep it in a place where the child(ren) won't find it, though, so he should take it off his phone. Asking him to get rid of his porn is really asking him to try to find a better hiding place and to lie to you about it. Once it's a "normal" thing he might not put so much importance on it. You only have a problem if he prefers the porn to you.
And I think he was being pretty thoughtful to let you sleep while taking care of his own needs. I'm usually pretty tired when I go to bed (we have a two toddlers, ages 2 and 3). If my husband sports wood while I'm asleep he better NOT wake me up -- I'll be really grumpy. If you happen to wake up while he's self-pleasuring, ask him if he wants some company. You might be pleasantly surprised.

 Normal yes but not necessarily acceptable. I'd tell my husband to lose the phone pictures and to masterbate in private. The fact that he feels that he has to hide the porn says it all. CALMLY tell him how you feel, he should respect your wishes on this issue. Good luck.

 obviously you are not as asleep as he would seem to think?how rude to masturbate when youre right next to him!who are these other women on his phone?are they models etc then i wouldnt read too much into this.i guess a couple of pics arent goin to threaten anyone?if hes hiding the porn he obviously feels afraid to confide in you.have you expressed distain for it in the past?i think 99%of men(the rest are liars)and alot of women look at porn etc.i personally dont think its unhealthy but if youve told him youve got a problem with it then he needs to curb his behaviour especially when he thinks you are asleep!i think if you make him feel uncomfortable about the porn he1l end up finding sneakier places to hide it.i think you need to confront him and talk this through.good luck.
