Is he over me? My friend says he's not

Question - (11 October 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 13 October 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I saw my ex (let's call him X)over the weekend. We've been broken up since July and he has a gf. I was in a relationship but ended it this weekend b.c the guy I was seeing basically 'cheated' on me with his ex. When I saw X he hugged me and something felt so right. I came to my senses that I'm not over him. My friend noticed that he wouldn't let go. It was a rather long hug.. which confused me b.c he says he is over me. X even went off on the guy I was dating and called him a liar and a cheater and told him that he doesn't deserve me. My friend thinks that he wants me back.. but I don't know. He claims to be in love with his girlfriend. We talked last month and he told me that he was over me, but when we saw each other he said that he only said that because we was trying to let me go.. but he's fine now.

.. i'm confused. .

[?]BitterSweetFinale;[?] agony auntI think he's trying to trick you into thinking he's over you when he's obviously not. You can't take one perspectives on this.. I'm not sure he COULD be in love with his gf but he may be trying to make you jealous which I'm assuming is correct. Although he is in a current relationship, he sounds to have the hots for you still hun! :)

Take care hope all goes well, xoxo.
