writes:well......my BF Jon dumped me becuz he was getting ready to go bac to skool and he said it would b to hard to focus on his school work and it didnt make since to me cuz i've been in skool for 3 to 4 weeks now and my grade on papers r fine and hes a better student than me........any advice on how to deal with this and is it a lie becuz he doesnt want me to kno hes seeing another girl or wat???? please help!!!!  Has he seen your writing recently? That could well be what caused him to want to move on. I assume that you write this way to be funny but the problem is that, if you keep doing it, you will start to think that it is an acceptable way to communicate.
That sounds quite mean but seriously if you keep it up with the "becuz" & "kno" and "wat" and "skool" etc. you will eventually find it difficult to write any other way and people that don't know you will think that you are stupid.
I know a little bit about this. I did pretty well at school, I went to a good university, I have a bunch of qualifications and I'm fortunate to earn well over a million dollars a year BUT I have the handwriting of a 9 year old. I have more than 100 people working for me but I still break out in a cold sweat if I have to hand write something in front of other people because my writing is so childish. Don't handicap yourself this way with your spelling, especially when the computer can sort it out for you.
