As far as birth defects go a woman giving birth at age 35 has the same chance of birth defects in her child as a woman giving birth to her second cousins baby. Inbreeding occurs when you have a history of cousin relationships. If you parents weren't second cousins and your children dont marry cousins then there will most likely be no problems.

U think that if you love them and that your family don't mind it but that's hard to find then go for it. But if you see just wanting to have sex with them then that's ok to but very risky. If you wanna be with them forever then go ahead I have read about it is ok for second cuzinz to get married. But think of the your family first I mean the ones who will judge you or notthe reason I have witten this is to let people know that your family will most likely judge you for being with them I have been there my family hated me but I don't think that you should Let you family make your desicions for you.  As uncle phil quite rightly said, birth defects are far more prominent when you're dipping in the same gene pool as yourself, and that's something you have to bear in mind even if you are careful.
Plus ask yourself do you really see a relationship in the set up, if not you shouldn't waste your time (especially at your young age) and save yourself for a moment that will truly be worth it.

16 is the minimum legal age for any sexual relationship in the UK. That is to say, you must both be over 16.
Sex with a cousin of any description is not incest under UK law, and is legal in the UK.
A 'cuddling and kissing' relationship with any cousin under the age of 16 is not illegal, but may raise a few eyebrows especially with family members, and more especially if there is a big age gap.
There is an increased risk of stillborn and physically impaired offspring of close relatives in any country.

in fact first cousins are allowed a relationship by law,
but there are concerns as to inbreeding and the health of any children from the relationship with second cousins these concerns are greatly reduced, Tho you are to young at the moment to be doing anything that will lead to children.
As phiatiger says inter family relastionships can destroy families but as its second cousins it should have less of an affect it depends on how your family sees things like this.

but if one of you is over 18 and one of you is under 18
in the eyes of the law it is illegal
also , you must think from a family perspective ?
what will happen if you do have a relationship
think carefully as family are one of the most importaint groups of people to keep close to you
is it all worth it ?

When relatives marry and have children, there is an increased likelihood that the children will have genetic defects. There's plenty of fish in the sea and you're only very young!

I dont think that there is a legal reason that would stop distant cousins having a relationship but these types of things do destroy families. Just make sure it is really worth it before you cause such upraw.
