Hey All,

i'm in a relationship with a guy, its been 2 years now or so.

he loves me so much and i love him too, and we're even thinking of getting married.

my problem is that, there are things i hate about him, he's sometimes stubborn, his way of driving, he's got some realy bad manners that he does in public, and most of all, he works night shifts, and i dont really see him cos i work during the day, and he doesn't seem to be finding another job,

i mean, i dont want to seem mean, but can someone really change? or is it just temporary? and then, do you think that getting used to somebody is a good reason to start your life with them?

A female reader, eyesramazing United States +, writes (24 December 2007):

No. Not a reason to get married. Ask yourself if you truly love this man? Old habits are hard to break, but if his flaws truly made you ill, you would have been gone a long time ago. We all have habits that get on each others nerves, but when we truly love someone, we tend to overlook those things. He obviously has some special qualities that out weigh his annoying habits. Would you rather be with him or without him. The choice is yours! Make the right one.
