writes:i am nineteen years old and a bit worried about something that i feel really silly talking to anyone about.i'm worried my vagina is repulsive. the inner lips are larger and darker than the outer ones and i'm worried this looks horrible. i know that everybody's bodies are a little bit different but it does bother me when my friends talk about this sort of thing and i feel very embarrassed, especially because my best friend always boasts that hers is perfect and amazing (i sit there thinking, what an odd thing to go on about to be honest) and is very critical of anything different.it makes me worry that mine is horrible and would put boys off. i have lost my virgnity about eighteen months ago, but i am horribly insecure and feel unattractive, in many ways.i would like some opinions on this issue, i don't mind if they're positive or negative, i would just like to know as i am too shy to discuss this with anyone i know.thank you.

I had the exact same issue!
My mum & sister picked on me for it and my friend pointed at a picture once of a girl with large labia and went "eeeww whats that" and her boyfriend explained it was labia. lol she felt so silly.
Just showed how ignorant they were hun. Men know a lot more about how varied womens genitals can be then women themselves.

I still have issues with myself but then I love at this for reassurance and realize im totally normal and unique- so are you! Deff something to be proud of!! :D xx

I feel the same as the person before. I love my wife, I love her whole body, there is nothing about her I love any less. I do not take photos of other womens vaginas to see if hers is the best looking or not, to me her's is. Now you are 19 and she is 50, I am sure your looks nicer than hers does, but I will not leave her for her vagina's looks. When you find the MR RIGHT out there, he will love every part on that 19 year old body. What about his penis? You do not get to pick a man's penis. When he drops his pants, that is what you get. I hope you are after the whole person, not just the sex part of life.

No-one who is close enough to be near your vagina will be remotely interested in the measurements. When in a relationship it'll be all about loving you. Many women will identify with you and probably will be surprised that you think this is an issue.Be happy babe and stop worrying. One question after you lost your vaginity did the person involved make any comment about your vagina? Thought not
