I have the same problem! I do orgasm when I masturbate, but it doesn't last long enough; only a few seconds.

SumYungGuy agony auntI don't think you're doing anything wrong. I think one of the main factors that drive orgasm is intensity - which will also determine how long it lasts. The more intense the orgasm, the longer it seesm to last.

What do girls do when they masturbate? Try checking out some websites on masturbation to see what other women do to masturbate. Most just use their fingers/hands or a dildo/vibrator. Once you get comfortable with the basics, you can get adventurous and learn new and exciting ways to masturbate.

Women who produce 'cum' is rare - which I'm assuming you are talking about some type of fluid that comes out during orgasm. Not many women can do this but many are trying to learn. You can also find discussions about women who 'cum' (female ejaculation or squirting) on many websites. From what I saw, a woman's ejacualte is more clear that a man's semen which is usually a milky off-white or yellow tinge.

You don't have to use a dildo to masturbate. But you can. Yes, inserting a dildo in your vagina can potentially tear your hymen. But if you haven't had SEX yet, then you would still be virgin, technically.

Have fun masturbating. Don't forget to wash your hands before you start :)

Hope this helps.

A female reader, duskyrowe United Kingdom +, writes (7 August 2007):

duskyrowe agony auntI started masturbating around 11 years old, I must admit I was naive and did'nt understand why I was doing it but it felt good. My parents were not very liberated and told me it was a dirty thing, which I think is wrong to tell an adolescent as it is natural to explore your body. BTW they are very religious. Anyway getting back to your question no you are not doing anything wrong it does take a few seconds or so for an orgasm to last and beside when you do get intimate with a guy it kinda prepares you of what to expect when you do have an orgasm. Women secreets fluid it is very similar to a guy's semen. I am nearly 40 and I have no problems reaching an orgasm with a guy, practise makes perfect.
