Not a relationship probelm I know, but I'm so annoyed with myself right now. I rang work yetserday to say I wont be in as the kids have this virus going about. She said thats fine and the office didn't need to know cuz I can make the day up this week (i only work 3 days a week and a saturday. 16 hours in all)

I rang this morning to say no better but wanted to ask if I can go in earlier tomorrow and finish earlier and do that for the next 4 days which will make up for the last couple of days. The boss was away from the phone so the guy said he would get her to call me back. She hasn't and now i'm stressing. Why didn't I ring yesterday and say I would go in today at 6am til 10am. I thought about it, but wasn't sure if kids would go to school today (i'm taxi so cant do 6-10 school days only 10-2)so left it as it was. I could kick myself.

I always do 6-10 saturdays and am usually home by the time they are just getting up. So could do that the rest of this week. If they are up in the night, they are usually asleep again between 4 and 9 this week. This bloody virus couldn't of come at a worse time. Ive only had the job 3 weeks, and I love it! Grrrrrr

Now I dont know what to do. Do I ring again? Then I feel like i'm hassling them and i'm worried what they will say, they are probably busy, which makes me feel even worse!

No wonder single parents dont bother working, its a joke when you have no family willing to help you out when kids are sick and you lose your job anyway!!

Sorry, rant over...breathe! lol

hlskitten agony auntCheers hun. I did ring back in the end, couldn't wait any longer lol She was good as gold, I have 2 immediate bosses and thankfully the nicest one was in. She said sorry she had been busy, but was really good about it, and I can make the time up, when suits me, and was extreeeemely accomodating. So I am stressing for nothing! Its just I love the job and would hate to lose it. It seems the hours are very flexible which is a bonus! And because I will be making the time up, it wont affect my first 3 months trial i'm on.

Hope you get well soon. It must be a nightmare. After this week the last thing I will need is to catch the damn virus off them! That will be the icing on the cake lol
